The rebel yell of these UNLV students could justly be "Viva Las Vegas!" Nearly 28,000 students attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), the largest academic institution in the state and home to the Rebel mascot. The university offers more than 220 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in areas including business, fine arts, eduction, and science. The university is home to approximately 850 faculty members and Nevada's only law and dental schools. It has also expanded its research activities and is classified as a Research University by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. UNLV was founded in 1957. View More
