The Denver District Attorney of the City and County of Denver comprises the 2nd Judicial District in Colorado and is the chief law enforcement officer in the City and County of Denver. The attorneys within the office prosecute state misdemeanor and felony cases in Denver’s County and District Courts and assist witnesses and victims of crime. Our office employs approximately 300 people comprised of 120 attorneys, along with investigators, victim advocates, legal assistants, and support staff.
