EOG Resources hogs a resource -- natural gas. The independent oil and gas company is engaged in exploring for natural gas (and crude oil) and developing, producing, and marketing those resources. In 2010 EOG, an independent offspring of the once powerful Enron, reported estimated proved reserves of 1.9 billion barrels of oil equivalent, including 8.5 trillion cu. ft. of natural gas reserves and 386 million barrels of crude oil, condensate, and natural gas liquid (NGL) reserves.
